Remington multitools. Are they any good?

I'm thinking of buying this Remington multitool at the local shop, but am just wondering if it's any good. I'm using this really nice craftsman, but it is a bit bulky and the screwdrivers are weird to use, and am looking to get a secondary user. Can't afford a leatherman, but this one seemed pretty good. No pics, I didn't think to take pics so I can't give the exact model, but it was in like perfect shape. Any info is appreciated, thanks!
 
Just buy a Leatherman, mate... best price/quality ratio by far.
Remington doesn't make multitools... it's a Chinese company (might be Ganzo but I'm not sure) who uses the name.
If you're low on cash, don't get a Leatherman Charge TTI.... a new Leatherman Sidekick or Wingman will set you back 25 USD, around 8 USD second hand and they're still leaps and bounds over some Chinese junk.

Nowadays there are two quality multitool manufacturers: Leatherman and Victorinox with Gerber, SOG and maybe CRKT lagging pretty far behind.
All the rest apart from these 5 are pretty much wasted money on tools that might endanger you...

Ok. I almost bought a wave for 30, but that was almost all of my money at the time. I also have an American camper multitool that a friend gave me for free after I bought some worms.
 
I agree with buying a quality tool. Leatherman makes entry level tools that are much better than the Chinese crap you would buy otherwise. Don't waste your money and just get the Leatherman.
