I am wanting to buy a old decent knife to be my knife for hunting and I would like to know how these old Remington knives would hold up. thanks
 
The old Remingtons were made by Camillus. They are good. The current ones since Camillus went bankrupt are made by Bear & Sons and are "so so" in my opinion. Basically, I won't buy one. I used and still have a Camillus made Remington Bullet Knife (Trapper Pattern) that was my primary deer hunting knife until I finally started carrying a small fixed blade.
