Do you guys ever get a knife that just well, for a lack of better words just speaks to you. I just got a new in box - old stock 1990 Bullet Knife that I absolutely love, it has me wanting to go buy up this pattern. I'm now trying to track down a Queen Mountain Man and a GEC 42, but preferably a 1984 Bullet Knife or another 1990 model. Dare I say I like the Delrin handles?!

I plan on using the heck out of this one, but I would love to get another to put back for my 11 month old son. If anyone knows of any legit knife dealers that have these, please let me know via PM. I'd like the seller to check for blade play and general good fit and finish.

This Imperial Ireland 'Frontier' Slimline Trapper. When I saw it, I just had to have it!! I usually don't like trapper patterns, but I couldn't imagine this knife taking any other form.

I think you might need to upgrade to a paid membership to receive PMs.

Here is one you might like........Joel Chamblin 3/4 size with some of the best stag you will ever see.

In my opinion, that is the perfect knife. If I had to have one pocket knife the rest of my life, it would be that.

Thank you Sir.:)

Here is another you may like. A custom Mountain Man made by Jerry Halfrich in CPM-154. This knife is perfect and Jerry selected fantastic stag for it. For me this is the ultimate "do everything" folder. (my mediocre pictures don't do it justice)

Well, you know I never met a knife I didn't like. The flip side of that is that I just am no longer a 1-knife forever kind of guy. I carried a Camillus made Buck 303 every day for over 10 years. But that was a long time ago. And today I got more options.

When I was a little kid my dad found his old imperial hatchet in my grandpa's shop and gave it to me, it started out as a combo with an h6 fixed blade which disappeared while he was in the army. A few years back I did a Google Search of the combo set and instantly fell in love with this awesome little " Bowie " style knife and knew that I would have to own one someday.
I finally bought one off a forum member last year for a reasonable 18$ to my door, and I absolutely love it.
The original sheath was completely toast, and the black delrin scales ended up breaking when I dropped it on the garage floor. I replaced them with wood scales then made a temporary truck strap sheath so I could carry it.
Well Friday I was able to get some more leather and make a nice sheath for it ,now I love it even more.
Other than how lightweight, thin & slicy, and easy to sharpen this knife is, it just speaks to me and I carry it all the time.

O

Nice- I never see one with a blade that full. Are those copper staples at the top of the sheath?

I was just admiring your Remington in the EDC thread Brady

Here's a knife I carried for decades, which I gifted to another member here. I thought you might like the look of it

Thanks screetened and Brad, and yes those are copper staples which I hammered out of a piece of wire. I didn't have any rivets and the wanted some reinforcement at the top.

One if the reasons it took me years to finally get one was that any I saw were either over sharpened , stainless Steel, or were the h7 version with the fish scaler on the spine.

Very nice, I like the lines of the handle. What are the scales made out of?
