I seriously doubt that is the knife the book is refering to. Your knife is a reproduction of one the original Bullets of the 1920's and 30's. The original is what the book is refering to . Your knife was made in 1998. They make them for that year and then cease production and make a new pattern the next year.

Does anyone know who "really" makes these knives? Does Remington own a knifemaking facility, or do they farm out the work to a company like Camillus?

Thanks, -Alex

Sorry, its one of remington's bullet repros. It has the jigged delrin, was probably made by camillus like the ones they've made for remington in the past. More than likely its probably worth around 30-40 dollars? (can anyone elaborate?)

*Also an original would not have "trademark", on the knife, or the paperwork.

Camillus does make the repros for Remington. When they come out they retail for between 60 and 70 dollars. They use delrin (plastic) and sometimes bone like the 2005 Bullet.
