This Remington RH04 seems to have some kind of gold colored plating on it. Any comments? Thanks.

Don't seem to be able to load a picture the way I normally do. Can someone help? Tried from Photobucket. Thanks.
 
You have to tap on the "direct link" from Photobucket and then paste it into place that comes up when you hit the button next to the smiley face (image).
 
That could be some type of paint, or maybe just metal plating? If it wasn't so heavy I would say that someone used a brass wire wheel to clean it...
 
Very nicely shaped knife.
I would guess that it was plated with something silvery that went goldish over time. What does that? I don't know.
So maybe not the greatest guess.
