I picked up a Remington RH35 in better than average condition. There is limited information about this knife. What I did find says it was only manufacted for 1 year. Is this true? Any additional information is appreciated.
The one year of manufacture you speak of is 1925. I've seen that referenced on the net, but I find that hard to believe. In 1940 Remington got out of the cutlery business and sold it to PAL. PAL manufactured a USN Mk1 with the RH-35 parts and tooling. Why would Remington have still had parts and tooling for the knife if they only made the knife for one year fifteen years prior?
