I was unable to find a Remington forum here, so if I need to post this somewhere else, just point the way.
I am looking for information on an older Remington fixed blade I picked up at a gun show several years ago.
This is not a particularly well made knife - the handle appears to be plastic antler with an aluminum guard and end cap. The blade is marked "Remington" on the left and RH73 on the right. It almost has the feel of a "toy", though I assume it was a bottom line product for Remington.
The knife came with a basketweave "tooled" leather sheath, "Remington" at the top and "Dupont" at the bottom. The snap on the leather retainer strap appears to be nickle or chrome, and has a rope(?) design around the circumference, but no writing.
I would post a photo but I don't think I am authorized to do that yet
So, any information you can add would be appreciated!
Thanks, James
