Remington Straight Razor?

Can anyone help me ID this razor! Looking for year (range is fine) value and rarity. As best I can tell, it says Oster Holm & Son ***ated I - X -L razor *ron works. I can upload a pic, but my camera won't pick up the lettering. Any info would be great. I know NOTHING about razors or pocket knives, but I have a few I want to sell if they're worth anything. TIA David
 
The razor you are talking about is a Wostenholm and Sons IXL. Could be 100 years old or better. Sheffield made. Shoot a picture. I'll be happy to provide my opinion on prices, which will disqualify me from buying any. But there's always ebay and the yahoo group StraightRazorPlace. Lynn
