Remington UMC

Coffee clutch this morning and my friend pulls out a Remington UMC 2 blade # P1555 and I thought it had a broken blade. He tried to explain that the short blade was for using as a pipe cleaner and was factory. I don't think so as I have never seen one like this. This is an older celluloid handled knife. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it didn't say 'R1555" instead of "P1555"?

The old Remington "R1555" was a gardening "grafting" knife with a short funny looking blade.
