Remington vs. Marlin 22mag Semi Autos

I am not familiar with either of these rifles, so I couldn't respond to a friend's request for advice. He is interested in the Remington or Marlin, but not the Ruger or Brno. As you would expect, he's interested in accuracy, reliability, and compatibility with different brands of ammo.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
