Remington with cracked scales

Hello all.

I just acquired two Remington knives, a muskrat and a lockback. The lockback is from 1984 and the muskrat is from 1988. Here are the pics:

Bought them new in the box and love them. They also cost less than equivalent modern USA-made knives and are of superior quality. What's there not to like? Anyway, I'm a user and not a collector, and these were bought to be users. The muskrat is impeccable, but the lockback has cracked scales near the lanyard hole. Is it ok to use it or will the cracks expand? Should I use some glue? Need advice. Here is the pic of the cracked scales:

Maybe some hobby glue if it will be a user. I would defer to someone with more knowledge than me. That is a really nice pair, I saw a few 1980's and 1990's Remingtons at a really small gun show today, but the prices were astronomical. These knives are great users.

I'd suggest using a two part epoxy... if possible, clamp the ends after you glue it so that the edges of the crack are pushed together. I've never used it on delrin but I've used it on lots of other stuff including other plastics.
