I'm not Tom, but maybe I can tide you over until he get here.

I caught this particular bug a while back and it took me a while, but I acquired all seven Camillus Classic Cartridge knives. Here's what you are looking for:

1991/CCC-1 -- Large Bullet trapper with 45-70 Gov't cartridge shield
1992/CCC-2 -- "Bush Pilot" style equal end moose/muskrat with 30-30 Winchester cartridge shield
1993/CCC-3 -- Toothpick with 7mm Mauser cartridge shield
1994/CCC-4 -- Large Copperhead Jack with .257 Roberts cartridge shield
1995/CCC-5 -- Baby Bullet Trapper with 45 Long Colt cartridge shield
1996/CCC-6 -- Bullet Tracker lockback with Remington 44 Magnum cartridge shield
1997/CCC-7 -- Camp/Scout with .270 Winchester cartridge shield

Happy hunting!

There 7 knives in the Camillus Classic Cartridge Series and longbeachguy was kind enough to list them. These knives all have bone handles and cartidge shields.

In addition to the Camillus Classic Cartridge Series a Cartridge Series was offered. These knives have Delrin handles.

A model #CCC8 was planned for the Camillus Classic Cartridge Series, but never went into production. This knife would have been a single blade lock back (similar to a Remington model #R1253) with a 250 Savage cartridge shield.

Here is what I found with the search for "Bush Pilot".

It is my understanding that the Remington Bullet knives from the rebirth in in the early 80s to the 2006(?) model were all made by Camillus but this was never advertised. Now Bear and Son are making the bullet knives and I have no idea if the quality is the same.

These 2 would appear to be the cartrige series and not the classic series? As far as warranty there is no place in the paper work that shows this? not fellin real good about that. I have 3 others that came from an estate auction 2 of them say return to Camillus 1, 9503 trapper green scales w/rem shield quite frankly "horrible" fit and finish 2, R2 waterfowl is 1 of a series of 4 Camillus warranty 3, R4 Utility no warranty just use inst. Maybe should have stayed where I had a little more knowledge...

IIRC, The "Classic" Cartridge were all bone handled. Sheesh, I see CAMCO said that.

Stroker, your knives are dated 1991 and 1993 (I missed that the first time :o), and like timsclips mentioned, those years should be made by Camillus. They sure look like Camillus "stagged" jigging as well, IMO. BUT, not part of the Cartridge knives...they would have a circular casing, not a bullet for the shield.

They look like fine knives.:thumbup:

I think these two are the 1993 and 1991 Remington Bullet knives. I own a Bush Pilot 1993 model, also have a 1990 lockback Remington and a 1996 on its way from a recent auction. I know that this forum is for Camillus but most all Remington knives (until Camillus closed) were made at Camillus, along with Ka-Bar slippies that I have been picking up as well.

those are the Camillus made "Remington Bullet Year knives" 1991 and 1993.
i have both of these. i particularly like the 1991 "Mini Trapper", great in hand feel. roland

Ok sooo! should a person go back and get a whole pile of all nib different one's as is there aren't gonna be no mo?? BY CAMILLUS and if so any advice on $ value? I can't remember how many different patterns they had (cause I was kinda stunned) but there were maybe 10-15. I about s... when I saw them all as well several Buck knives didn't even ask about them cause I ain't got none. Advice Apreciated.

the earlier of these Bullet knives (1982 - 1990 ?) were released in fewer numbers, so higher value now. all were made really for collector market but they never caught on. the prices now are usually lower than when first released. i have most of them, all from ebay in last year. my average price, mint with box and papers, is about $30. an excellent price for a good knife.
will they now begin to finally appreciate in value ? maybe; probably. but if you buy them because you want a good USA made knife at a low price, then for sure they are a good deal. as an "investor" looking for a good return on investment, well who knows the future ?
but BEWARE: there are repros of these repros out there. they usually have the Remington Madison stamping and will not have the correct Bullet year on them.
get "Remington Knives" by Stewart and Ritchie 2005 and use this as a cross check reference.
plus search Remington here for threads with more specific info on these Camillus reproductions. roland
