Does anyone have any thoughts on the Remington R6 hunter re-issue (I think they were made in the 1980's)? I have one I use and another, new in the box I plan on giving to my son-in-law for his birthday. He's admired mine and when I found the new one in a box in the basement I thought it would make a nice gift. The steel is 440 and mine has always held a fine edge. I was wondering if anyone else had used one, and also if anyone (a Remington collector?) could give me an idea of the value of one new in the box.
