I have always liked and admired the remote release Spyderco knife, but as a lefty, never took the plunge. But now, I looked at the latest catalog, and it looks like it might work for a lefty. Anyone have the new model that can comment? Thanks all for your help!
Dave.

The lock is fully ambidextrous. Pushing the barrel clip release forward with the index finger (left handed) feels a bit unnatural to me, but is easy enough to get used to (I'm right handed, so doing this with my off hand may have something to do with it). I have a couple of them, if you send me your mailing address I'll send you one to try.

It's one of the most left hand friendly models out there and, IMHO favors left hand use. The Kraton inlay is on the proper side for us and the clip release favors operation using the left thumb. Go for it, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the generous offer! :) This is what makes these forums so geat!
The generousity and helpfulness of it's members! No need at this time, as I am going to order one today. But I really appreciate the offer.

Paul - Are the serrations on the left of the blade or the right?

Thanks,

The serrations are ground on the left side of the blade, so they actually work better for most things with the knife held in the left hand. They just look better with the knife in your right hand. ;)

Thanks! I am ordering one this morning! :)
