Since seeing the Remote Release recently in a local outdoor store, I was very impressed with it's heft and shape. The blade shape is not as pointy (read: prone to breakage) as my delica or Rookie. Did Spyderco ever make a different knife with the same blade shape?

Hi RH. We made some protos of other designs with the same blade shape, but to date, the only production of that blade shape has been on that model.
