Can anyone tell me if the remote release was available in CE ? I know they were made with PE or SE. I see one advertised on the bay with a CE ??

The plain edge Remote Release was an exclusive for AG Russell as well as the plain edge Snap-It.

Far as I know, they were made in PE and SE only, and I can't find any on eBay that claim to be combo edge.

you can by the remote releases II but I've only seen fully serrated. if you really wanted you could have somebody regrind it into a combo edge

Paul, its listed under spyderco aus-8 combo edge lockblade pocket knife.
Definitely strange. No good view of the blade, so it's hard to say what it really looks like. Checked through all the price lists that show the C30, and all that are ever listed are PE and SE. So, either it's a "regrind", which is what it looks like since the hollow grind gets narrower near the front in that one shot, or possibly something Spyderco did as a special for Ironstone or AGR. I'd bet on the regrind, but I've been wrong before.

Thanks, Paul I figured it is probably a regrind.
