does anyone use the removable bit driver with one of the products from the leatherman juice line?

i recently came across this little trinket and was thinking of adding it to my edc laptop bag.

anyone got pics or a review? i use the phillips screw driver the most on my juice s2 and typically carry a bit set with a bit driver in my edc, it would be nice to replace the bit driver with the juice i already carry.

no bites? anyone even own a removable bit adapter? does it click onto the phillips bit or just slide on and off loosely, meaning it could slide off during use?

I don’t know why Leatherman doesn’t include the bit extension with every tool that has the socket. It’s a great tool.

The big advantage is the extra length. There are many screws which a bit in the original socket cannot reach.

The second advantage is that the bit extension accepts standard hex bits. So you aren’t limited to using Leatherman’s proprietary flat bits.

In the one I just tried, the bits snap into the extension, and must be pulled out. The extension snaps into the bit socket, not as tightly.

Just day before yesterday I used that very gizmo to tighten hex screws on a chair. It works okay, but as the adapter doesn't lock onto the ph driver, you have to be careful it doesn't slip off in use, usually not much of an issue. Although by no means efficient as a dedicated tool, the bit driver kit is a compact way of being prepared for screw heads and sizes not covered by the several basic Juice screwdrivers. The adapter also provides a longer shaft for when the stubby drivers have insufficient reach. That and a Juice take up little EDC space and I find the outfit a real  . Also, the same adapter can be used on the Core and Super Tool 300. For the low cost, you shouldn't deprive yourself.

I have one It also sort of works on standard bits as well if they arent too short (its sized to fit the LM flat bits depth wise)

It has me thinking of upgrading to a ST 300.

oh and sometimes it actually gets stuck on the philips driver so you have to work it off.

Its worth it if you can find it cheap, I got it for like $11 including the sheath.

Probably need to get the reall 22 piece bit set as it only comes with 5 (really 3 useful) bits.

Biggest issue with the juice is carrying it in the sheath thats oversized, not a deal breaker, but not the best either.
