Removal of knife handle

Hi all,
I recently selected a Condor Varan knife which I ALMOST like a lot! The problem is the circumference of the handle is a bit larger than comfortably fits my small to medium hands. I can certainly us it as is but would like to narrow them some. Question: these handles are bonded to the tang! No screws to remove the panels. Does anyone have suggestions as to how to remove, or techniques to modify, these handles without destroying the knife. As stated, I like the blade shape, size, grind, 1073 carbon steel, spine width, leather sheath and price! Just wish I could modify the handle.

Will appreciate suggestions. Bad news... not as welcomed but can live with reality!!

No fastners?? Just sand to handles down to meet your needs! If you want to change materials a little heat may help loosen the glue.

If that plastic handle is molded on and solid just get a belt sander or angle grinder and start sanding it moving it quickly back and forth so you don't burn and melt the material by overheating. When you get it about right for the way it feels in your hands just hand sand it with finer sandpaper grits until it feels good. If it is a hollow type handle and you burn through just cut it off by making a bunch of vertical slots along the handle and just pry them off with a screwdriver wedged between the slots and twisting. You would want to do that with the knife held securely in a vise.

If you need to make a new handle just use any hardwood you can get a scrap piece of from any local cabinet shop discards or just buy a piece of hardwood flooring you like. Trace the flat knife handle on the wood, saw out, epoxy and sand it after hardening to whatever contour you like.
It would be a fun project and would make it "custom" to your tastes.

That polymer handle might not be solid and sanding it might expose those voids. I would suggest contacting Baryonyx knife Co., they sell that model and might be knowledgeable about the construction.
