Removal of pic's from threads ?

Hi All,

Looking for a bit of help here .... I host my pic's through photobucket and am nowhere close to the capacity allowed on my account.... but some of my old reviews have had the pic's removed with the standard photobucket message we often see. The photo's are still in my album's and I was wondering if photobucket do a "time out" system and remove them after a while or whether the admin on B/F's removes heavy photo threads to keep the system from clogging up?

I did a post back in early February ( my 1000th post ) where I reviewed the KZ and the pic's are gone ..... if I go to the edit button I still see the pic link but it is inactive and does'nt show if I then try to preview the post.

Just curious as to what causes this ? And ... can I do anything to help keep the pic's up and viewable ?

Did you ever move the pics in your photobucket account to another folder? If so the original link is no longer working. Other than that I don't know why they wouldn't work. I have dozens of old pics hosted at Photobucket and used here that still show up

Yes that will be it ... :thumbup: I started to organise my main album by moving pic's used for reviews into albums listing the review ....

So how do I get them back up ... edit and re-post the photo link ?

Yup. You have to go back and edit all your old picture posts with the new link. Which could be a royal pain.
