Remove a forced patina

I forced a patina on a becker bk11 but don't like how it turned out. Is there a way to remove it and start over again without damaging the knife?
 
I would recommend using a scotch bright pad....will take the patina right off and leave a nice hand rubbed finish:thumbup:

ya those be the ones.... you can also go to your local wood craft shop and they have a similar thing but they are more durable and have different coarses
 
Green is coarser than the brown ones, finish with the brown, and you can use really fine wet/dry sandpaper(2000+ grit) for a polished finish.
