Remove Blade Resistance Paramilitary 2?

So my Paramilitary 2 came in the mail today, and the blade is really sticky and hard to move. It's not a sticky lock, because it's just as difficult even with the lock fully depressed. I tried adjusting the pivot screws, but only one of them moves, the other is completely stuck (which is probably the reason why I'm having these problems). Any advice for either how to get the other screw moving, or how to loosen up the blade? Thanks!

How difficult is it to open? Are we talking like you need both hands to open it?

No, opening is fine if you flick it HARD, but I've seen people close it by holding down the lock and the blade just falls back in without them even touching it, whereas I need to push the blade back in, even if the lock is depressed.

Sounds like it just needs some use to break in. Welcome to the forum.

I think they all come out of the box a little different. I bought one 2 weeks ago. It had a little blade play and stiffness but I knew I was going to take it apart that night for a good cleaning, lube and reassemble. Made a big difference, centered blade and smooth as butter. I keep mine a little tighter than you describe (falling closed) for preference.

Some good info on proper way to adjust. Worked great for me. Cleaning is a must.

ALSO, only one side of my pivot screw can be loosened! Assume red loctite on that thread for some reason. That is not what is causing your problem. Mine had a lot of manufacturing junk that needed to cleaned.

For lube I used 85w a Nano-lube when dissambled. 10w for touch ups as the 85w won't work it's way in.

Hope this helps.
