Remove Edge Pro Apex Edge?

I have a large Sebenza 21 Insingo that the previous owner sharpened on an Edge Pro Apex. It is very sharp and for all practical purposes I have not used it. I want to sell this in the near future. Since I am sending a couple of other knives in to CRK to have double studs installed, I can send this one along for the ride for a spa treatment and resharpening.

My questions are:
1) Can CRK put back their edge? Will this remove excessive material?
2) Does it really matter from a value point of view if it has been sharpened on an Edge Pro? (Again it is really sharp and looks like it was well done.)

Thanks!

CRK will put sharpen it whenever you bring it back to the factory, unless you ask them not to in the form you are required to send. If it is a good edge and the blade has the same profile, the value should not change. And, yes, by sharpening it they will take off a tiny, virtually unnoticeable, amount of metal. Hope this helps!

Why would you want to remove the Edge Pro edge?
Most new knives I get, it's on the Edge Pro to reprofile the edge. Factory edges are usually too steep to slice well.
They cut better with a smaller angle.???????????????

D'Oh! It was getting late and I wasn't clear in my original post and have edited it. I am fine with the Edge Pro edge for my use. I am asking from a resell value point of view - is it going to affect the value either way? Thanks!
