I would start these types of questions in service and support- But you need to be gold and above to do that. I tried to send you one to be sure and it's not possible to send to a user that doesn't have the proper membership level..I don't believe there is an option to email in this version of forum software...yet
Upper right, click on the envelope by your name. Type the person you are trying to PM/Start conversation with and the rest should be fairly intuitive..once you are gold and above, of course.

Beyond this information, please do start threads in Service and Support, PM's or whate'er is relevant place for this.. Lest we draw the ire of the RevDevil for chatting in sales threads.

Not much different than the old software. If you click a member's avatar, you get a popup with options. One of them is "send message". Click that and you go to a page, "start a new conversation". "Conversations" are the new "PMs".

PMs are now conversations, which are restricted to members with paid subscriptions (as before the software switch) - you can also contact someone via profile post
