Removing a fixed blade from handle ?

Hi all let me first say i got this blade in a trade a bad trade my fault. I have tried to trade it sell it no luck thats fine looking at it the other day i would like to remove the handle from the blade and make this into a bottle opener . Dont know how this is secured i did put it into a vise and gently tried to move it back and forth no movement at all . So my ? is does anybody have any ideas on how to seperate the blade from the handle without destroying it? Thanks in advance Rich
