Removing assisted opener

Hi All,

I'm having the troubles with my Aftermath after removing that bar Because the third screw on the handle has narrow end to fit that bar, now without the bar the blade can't be centered, and the handle slabsa aren't aligned properly.
Actually it's not the screw itself but donno what's the name for it, whatever the screw goes into.
Is there a way to solve this problem? I wouldn't want to cut that bar in half in order to fix this problem. I live in CA and I don't want to have troubles because of that bar...

Hi Gator. I think you would have to make a spacer to fit that gap that exists where the spring bar came out of. You might contact Camillus and see about buying a spring bar and then cutting it to make the spacer.

Yeah, I guess that's what I'd have to do.
I'll post an update once I get it done.
