Removing black coating on a knife?

Anyone know how i can get the coating off of my Lcc's blade?

Only way I know is to disassemble the knife, take the blade and start sanding to give it a satin or mirror finish.

I'd do the same thing. Or, take the knife apart, buff the blade using a buffer. Either way works, and both way eeekk

I've never tried it myself, but I heard of someone using Citrustip to remove a black coating???

Why do you want want to remove the coating? It will eventually come off anyway.

I hear most people just sand it off. Is there any way to remove it with acid?

There's gotta be a quicker and cooler way to do it!
