Removing blackwash on ZT0095? how? Have you done it?

I'm considering buying a ZT0095, but it only comes in black (limited) and blackwashed. I would like it better if it was stonewashed or satin finished.

How can the black coating or blackwash be removed? Sanding, or could I use some chemicals without damaging the steel and titanium?

Have you removed black coating/blackwash from a ZT, Kershaw or any other branded knives?

The DLC coating will need to be ground off, I don't think any chemical method will work.

The Russian 0095 looks good, but it is to pricey for me.

I was really hoping I could use some chemicals to remove the blackwash, but I guess I'll just have to sand it.

If you do end up trying to remove it, post a picture please. I've been considering buying this knife and it would be interesting to see it without its coating... Good luck with it.
