Removing blade coating

I just purchased a Game Warden from the b=Busse Store with a black blade. I have seen others on this thread who have taken the coating off their blades to give them more of a satin look. Can anyone please explain the process to me. I plan on keeping it for my EDC but am not a big fan of coated blades. Any help would be appreciated.

I've not done this but have read where others just goop on gel-type paint stripper and let it sit for a while. Apparently the coating comes right off without hurting the micarta. Then you just sand away.

Put stripper in the search function and you can read all day.

It comes off really easy with stripper from Home Depot.

i use a spray on paint stripper. costs just a few dollars a can.

real easy, spray on, leave for about ten minutes, and use a plastic scraper to remove the paint.

then sand or polish to your satisfaction.

To help narrow it a bit, and keep INFI as the steel, use the "advanced search" feature and on the right hand side scroll down to, and select Busse Forum.

Can you tell the brand? I run search, but don't really want to spend all day watching stripped knives, instead of go to Home deport and do it myself today...
