What are some ways i can take the coating off and polish my BK+T BK7? I do not have any specialized tools. sandpaper, cordless dremel, cordless drill, i have. I would not need a mirror or professional looking finish. This knife gets used. I think I would leave the coating on under the handle though.
Thanks

IIRC there is some chemical stripper ya can get that works on a lot of the coatings, it softens it up for removal, barring that i think sandpaper is best ya just start coarse/go finer, a dremel w/the proper head would work also but i havent ever used 1 for that myself.

its not an easy thing to do & have it come out looking good anyway.

I've used acetone on a couple of knives and it's worked really well just soak the coating for a while and if it's going to work you should be able to scrape it off.
