removing email from account details?

I have been reading about members being scammed because scammers could find their email address. My email is listed in my account details. I cannot find a way to remove it, it only allows me to change it. I have never bought anything off of the exchange and if I do, do not plan to use paypal. Do I have a problem here?

The issue is when you post your email. The email in your account details is not public, no worries there
