Im thinknig about getting a Case Sodbuster Jr. and i think the knife looks great, all except for the "SodBuster Jr." and picture on the blade.
heres what im talking about: http://www.knifecenter.com/knifecenter/case/images/CA095.jpg

So is there any way i can remove it? or at least polish it to the same shineyness (not sure if thats a word haha) as the rest of the blade to make it less noticable.

Not sure why you want it gone since thats part of what makes the knife such a classic.

Only way your getting that off is by sanding it off.

I dunno its just not my thing.

And what about using something like Flitz inside of the engraving and just make it polished?

is it engraved or etched?

If its engraved, forget it. Etching can be removed with a scotch brite bad or other abrasive.
