I doubt it. Deet is a very harsh chemical and can melt plastic.

Just get any kind of paint stripper. The faster working the better. I like Jasco Speedomatic, but there's others with the same chemical in it.

Yeh just get a stripper. It'll be easier and faster. just soak it the recommended time and most will just fall off. I use superstrip

Why would you?? Auto paint stripper from any hardware store works fast and easy. Did all my Beckers that way.

I'm thinkin raw sewage mixed with nuclear waste would do a number on it too. Stupid me used epoxy paint stripper.

No way.. It is among other things a topical antiseptic and sanitizer, also antibacterial cleaning agent for minor cuts and abrasions, as well as a body rub.We'd have a big problem if it removed paint.
