Yep, vise, clamps and put a sheath on it.Last time I heard about the "Helicopter of Doom" The fellow almost lost his hand, I cant imagine what a Rattle Hawk would do spinning like that.![]()
Drilling is the best option to get rid of the tubes, I used a 1/4" bit and a very tight vise. C clamps will work as well, but use two or three to ensure no spin action.

Leather Dude is correct, 1/4" sharp Drill bit and lots of clamping.
You should only have to drill one side then push it out the other.
I have done a few back in the day.
I even had some tube flares made to put them back on
The brass is way nicer than the stainless tubes![]()
