Does anybody know a way to safely remove the manufacturer's logo from an aluminum knife handle? I have a Kershaw Blur (1670BLK), which is all black except for the white logo on the handle. I think gray would have been a better (and subtler) choice of color for the logo; the white logo seems out of place because of its stark contrast against the black.
I thought about attempting to dissolve and wipe away the white pigment with something like nail polish remover or mineral spirits, but I was afraid that that may stain the black anodized aluminum. Any thought?
