Hello all. I finally got a bk16 and would like to remove the coating from just the blade section and not from the hilt down the handle. I have seen many pictures of peoples knives that have a very precise definitive line with no coating. My experience with my other Beckers has simply been to remove the entire coating so I just stuck the entire knife in a tub of stripper.
Whats the best way to only remove part of the coating while not having it look messy and not straight? Also should I use a different chemical other than typical liquid bottle stripper?
Thanks for any input! I am a long time BK&T fan and own probably 6 Kabars, 3 of which are Beckers, and finally got what I think is my favorite so far the 16.
