removing rubber residue off car windows?

The inside surface of my front car windows rubs against the rubber (as the window goes up and down) inside the door frame, leaving streaks - in the exact same location on both windows, btw. I am guessing 90+ degree dry climate is not helping.

What's the safest way of removing the streaks (the windows are aftermarket-tinted)? Goo-Gone?

Thanks.

rubbing alcohol works pretty well, acetone or even nail polish remover would probably work well too.

goo-gone is good as well but dont get it on your hands because that stuff smells baddd.
