Hey guys, I have some options in mind but I want to remove some rust spots on a bali of mine that has bead blasted handles.

Chuck told me about some stuff called Flitz www.flitz.com and said it works great, but I'm really looking for some stuff that I can get a local store rather then having to order it online.

Any Help is appreciated.

Metal-glo should be available at your local gunshop,
but Flitz is still pretty common.

There is a similar product (don't remember the name  ) at wal-mart in the cleaning supplies by the brasso and such. I'm pretty helpful aren't I?

Where have you guys seen flitz at? or Metal-glo, I have been calling places and they think I'm crazy...

Is their a local knife store in your area? They would more than likely have some Flitz in stock.

You can get Metal Glo at Home Depot here in Sherwood. I don't know about your local Depot. But, my guess is that, being a new home owner, you know where Home Depot is.

Yeah we got a home depot and I know right where it is... I'll check there and Walmart... they are in the same shopping center... :D

Thanks for the help guys...

Hey Icon,
I'm in MD too. I once tried finding Flitz at wal-marts, home depots, hechinger's and lowes. No luck. I'll be trying gun shops next. If it is no trouble to you, if you find it, could you let me know where? I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Try Mother's Mag Wheel paste at WalMart. It works as well as Flitz, costs less, and works well on wheels to boot.

Comes in a jar.

That is exactly what I use. Works great! Also works as a final polish when mirror finishing blades, clips, or aluminum scales.

:)
