Removing silicon caulking?

I got silicon caulking on my Mini Grip and Swisstool while trying to fix a leaky window today. What is the best thing to clean them up?

Wait for it to cure and use a soft brush ,that should get it off . I have no idea what would take it off if it was still "wet".

I've had good luck removing it by scraping with a piece of wood to get the bulk of it off, then swabbing with acetone. Don't get that stuff on the scales!

Thanks. It is pealing off pretty easily now that it has cured. I was abusing the heck out of them, but they took it.
