I just ordered the Kershaw Emerson CQC- K6. I like the look of the knife but I don't care for the skull image that appears on the pocket clip and displays forward when clipped to the pocket. Any ideas from the "experts", that means you!, on how to remove the image with minimal results to the metal pocket clip?

Thank you

You could cover it up with a small piece of grip tape. I add grip tape to the clips of all my folders to make them easier to retrieve when my hands are wet or sweaty.
Just an option to consider.

I don't think it is very hard to remove. I bought that knife for my son in July and the skull wore off just from carry and use.

I'd strip the whole thing down bare and scotch bright it. That's just me.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I think I'll see if it just wears off with use and carry per dr Fos. I can't wait to receive it!

If it's just a painted or decal, sand it off. If it's a cast or part metal of the pocket clip, I've found a Dremel cutting wheel works well. Then emory to smooth off the edges. I've used the Dremel cutting wheel and emory to shorten several of my pocket clips.
