Anyone have any ideas how to remove the stop pin on a 25? Seems the pin is threaded to the handle, and taking out the screw doesn't matter. How would one take the pin out without grabbing it with a pliers or something and scratching it or the handles? thanks

Does your stop pin have screws on both sides? The early 25's were press fit into the handles. At some point the design was changed to screws on both sides. I know there is loctite on the stop pin screw. If it ain't broke I wouldn't touch it...the stop pin has a flat spot which allows the blade to pass. If you don't get it back in correctly you could have more trouble than simply not being able to remove it.

figured it out. Grabbed it with a rubber band wrapped around it, and had to break the locktite. Seems that the pin is press fit, but can freely rotate once the screw is out and the locktite is broken, if anyone wants to know. Also, by the looks of the design, it appears you can't really rotate it, as the "flat spot" in the stop pin needs to be in the position so that the blade can still close, which really gives you no play with it fwiw.
