Removing/swapping out CRKT minimalist scales

Has anyone been successful in removing the stock scales on a CRKT minimalist?

I’d like to swap around my scales from my black drop point to my greenish cleaver but I just can’t seem to get them off once the screws are removed.

Am I missing something? Are these glued or epoxied into place? I’m rather concerned with destroying them if I try to pry them off so I wanted to enquire if anyone successfully removed them non-destructively?

I had no problem removing the scales on two of my Minimalist knives. No adhesives holding them in place.
I'm not a lanyard guy so I removed the scales in order to remove the lanyards.
