Considering removing it from my BK16. How much of a problem will rust be, and is it worth it?
Keeping the coating under the scales for the winThe other easy thing is if you get water on your knife dry it when your done and for almost bulletproof protection wipe with mineral oil when not in use. A thin coat is all that is needed and it’s food safe.
If the steel is smooth it will also remove cool Patina patterns.
