Did someone here have already removed the black coating of a blade ?
I have a BM806D2, wich I messed up the coating trying to sharpen it.
Well, it became very ugly, and I decided to remove the coating, but I did it only at the hollow ground of the blade. It looks like a "RAMBO II" finish now
(I'll post a picture latter).
Well, do someone here have experinece on removing the blade coating ? Especialy BM's BT2 ? What's the best way to do it ? I did it with some sand paper...
