Hello everyone recently my friend bought me the Gerber freeman, as he knows I do A LOT of wood working and needed a cheap knife for stripping bark, and the top layer of wood underneath. The freeman works great for what I use it for but, I have one issue with this knife. The handle. It seems kind of small circumference wise, and I wanted to just remove the sides and do a paracord wrap but we can't get the screws off, and I don't want to break any of my tools that I need to work on my good knives. Does anyone have any ideas on how to loosen these T-6's on here ?

If it's loc-tite, try melting it with a propane torch. Otherwise, try to dremel a slot into the screws, and use a large, flat-head screw driver to remove it.

thanks a lot, well I started playing with it some more and it's glued together, they glued the handles on and then put the screws in, so I'm 99% these screws are locked in place, never had a brand new out of package knife come glued together but...oh well. I just hope I can get these handles off in one piece.
