Removing thumb stud

Hi,
Does anybody know how to remove the thumb stud on a sebenza? I am toying with the idea of getting a DLC coating done on the blade, but i want the thumbstud to stay how it is now so i need to remove it. Can anyone help?

I think you can press it out carefully, depnding on your level of skill.

Glad I did a search first, I would have said you need a press, but another forum member did it with tools most of us have or can get. Details here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=400416&highlight=thumbstud Be careful especially putting the stud back in, its easy to get misaligned and mess something up.

Launch a search in this forum I saw a similar thread before, for removing mine I placed a socket on the side of the thumstud, then on the oposite side I placed a bit of drill (i forgot the diameter), after i tightened with a vice in order to remove the thumbstud.
