I learned about Renaissance wax on the Smith & Wesson forums and have used it ever since on my nickle 44 and 41 Magnums. It works great on those.
So I started using it on my stainless knife blades, including all my CRKs. And it works great there as well. SO smooth afterwards.
So as I own only one wood inlay CRK, a Macassar Ebony polished 31, I decided to try it on the inlays as well as the blade. I picked up this particular one as I felt it has unique stripes in it that I'd never seen before or since on a CRK Macassar Ebony inlay.
BOY did it make those stripes pop! It's almost like I clear coated it a smidge. The lighting in here is too glary, but it really did.
The stuff is kinda expensive, about $30 on Amazon, but one tin lasts a really long time.
Trick is though, only let it dry about 4-5 minutes. It hardens VERY quickly and you really gotta buff it off with a fast motion and a microfiber towel, but you'll get it all off and you'll be pleased with the results.
Post some pics if you do it. I'm sure any inlay will respond, and I'm curious to see your results as well.
