Renaissance wax protection

I have a spalted beech ladder Damascus 21 I want to carry everywhere. By everywhere I mean work, fishing, hunting, sweaty baseball days, etc. If I use Renaissance wax, will it protect my wood inlays from damage? B

Your inlays are stabilized (treated) and do not need any extra protection. Use it and enjoy it. Gorgeous piece you have. Show us a pic!

Ron is right of course, but....I always like to use a little Renwax anyways. It can't hurt and it's a great excuse to admire and care for the knife.
Plus, "Sorry dear, I have to maintain my knives or I'd love to watch the 800 lb triplets cocaine and pizza addiction Dr Phil Special with you" works for me.

I've read that the wax helps prevent jeans from staining box elder.

I put ren wax on any natural material inlay or cover whether it is stabilized or not- it certainly won’t hurt!
