Where can I get this stuff? Will it harm any type of blade coating or handle material?
Thanks.

Give Koval Knives a call. You can't go wrong with Ren Wax. It's pricey, but the can lasts forever. 800-556-4837

Does Ren wax discolor a blade? How often do you apply it? Does it dull the look of satin or stonewash finishes? Are there any draw backs to using ren wax?

Who sells it for a reasonable price?

The importer for Ren Wax is Cutlery Specialties. Dennis13@AOL.com.

This is used sparingly and one coat should do it. No discoloring. Go to a knifeshow and
90% of the makers are using it.

It's affect on appearance is roughly like that of paste wax on a car's finish - higher gloss, no color fade. It's my favorite!

It won't harm anything. It's neutral ph, non-acid. It's used to protect archival materials. Can even be used on paper.

most nice woodworking stores carry this stuff, especially Woodcraft...which is now just about everywhere.

I use marine tuff cloth on my knives. Can you apply the wax right over the marine tuff cloth coated metal or do you have to remove the marine tuff cloth film?
