Alright, I'll admit this is a fishing expedition.

I heard the Quest has to be renamed because some one else has the name registered by Buck.

Does this mean that the knife is yet un-named?

Could this be a contest in the works?

How about it guys? I'd be ineligible, of course.

How about Argo, the name of the ship that Jason used on the Quest for the Golden Fleece? It keeps the spirit of the original name, and adds a nautical theme that should appeal to those who look to this knife for its oxidation resistance properties.

How about in keeping with Rob's apparent method for naming his working knives by Native American words. For example, Wambli and Cetan are Lakhota for eagle and hawk, respectively, correct? So, how about mato, for bear, or sung manitu tanka for wolf (just kidding!). Another one is mila, for knife. If I am spelling all these correctly, which I'm probably not. There's also several words in Cherokee that might work, or Alabama(n) (I didn't even know that there was an Alabama tribe until I was looking for the Cherokee language).

You could call it Harrier, a type of small hawk as well as the vertical takeoff jet.

rockspyder, you are good with the words, by the way, spider in Lakota is Inktomi.

How about the CUDA HAWK in honor of Rob's name for the Custom?

Thanks Rob. I have a little bit of Cherokee in me. My grt. grandmother on my father's side was supposedly full Cherokee; so that makes me what? Anyway, I looked through what I could of the Cherokee language, and found quite a few words that would have worked, based on wildlife, tools, the acts of cutting, piercing, etc. However, all of them were pretty long, with difficult pronunciations; not suitable for a knife for 'mass' production, unfortunately.

Inktomi, huh? Hmmm... now I wanna go change my handle again...
