Rendezvous knives ?????

Is that the stone that if hit at a certain angle will produce a edge sharper then a surgeons scalple? The name escapes me. Definitly not something I would carry around :-/

It's called Obsidion and it's volcanic glass. Native Americans, among others, used it and other stones (like flint) before metals were introduced. Go here http://www.msu.edu/~doneycar/flint.html to see some other examples of Knapping.

And yes it will get very sharp, but like glass it is very brittle so it wouldn't make what we now consider a good EDC.

Thank you for the info. heheh I see these forums arent only for knife talk. ok here goes .. whats the square root of 56,000,657
then divide by -23 .. A sebenza to the winner :)

Thanks, I've already got a few Sebenzas. What are you looking for? Your question isn't very rigorously phrased.

The square root of 56,000,657 is 7483.3586,
which divided by -23 is -325.36341;
so? What am I missing?
